Apatite

Found in many colors, but green is most common. Can be
sensitive to acids. Transparent to somewhat opaque, it has a vitreous luster. It lends itself well to
carving and can be utilized in jewelry in that fashion.
Mined from countries like Brazil, Burma, India, Madagascar, Kenya, Mexico, Norway,
South Africa, Norway and the United States.
