Aventurine Quartz

Found primarily in dark green with occasional glittery
metallic inclusions of green mica or gold-brown to red caused by hematite particles. Aventurine Quartz is
found in Brazil, India, Russia with some depostis found in Tanzania, Japan and the U.S.A. as well.

Aventurine is often used by making into cabochons and carved figurines for jewelry and ornamental
items.
