Tanzanite

Tanzanite is a member of the Zoisite species and was originally discovered in Tanzania, from which it got it's
name. The finest specimens will be Sapphire blue with Purplish hues. Color can be enhanced by heating to 752
to 932 degrees F (400 to 400 degrees C) to remove any brown or yellowish tints and strengthen the blue hues.
Tanzanite is only found Tanzania and Kenya.
